Tomato juice contains lycopene, antioxidants, and fiber which are believed to help reduce blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. Purpose: To determine the effect of tomato juice on reducing blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental method with a two-group design. The study population was 21 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, with a sample of 20 respondents using the total population technique. Data analysis used the t-dependent test. The study population was 21 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, with a sample of 20 respondents using the total population technique. Data analysis used the t-dependent test. Results: The average reduction in blood sugar levels in the intervention group was 50.60 mg/dl, while in the control group it was 25.20 mg/dl. Statistical analysis showed a p-value of 0.026, indicating a significant effect of tomato juice on reducing blood sugar levels. Conclusion: Tomato juice has a significant effect on reducing blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. Keywords: Blood Sugar; Diabetes Mellitus; Tomato Juice.
