This Community Service Program aimed to enhance the capacity of the management of At-Taqwa Mosque in preparing budgets to support effective, transparent, and accountable financial management. The primary challenges identified included simple financial recording practices, limited understanding of budgeting concepts and procedures, and the absence of a structured budgeting system. The program employed a participatory approach through training sessions, mentoring, discussions, and hands-on practice in preparing a simple budgeting framework tailored to the mosque's financial management needs. The results indicated significant improvements in the participants' knowledge and skills in budget preparation, increased awareness of the importance of transparency and accountability in managing mosque finances, and the development of an initial budget plan to serve as a guideline for financial planning, implementation, and control. This program is expected to encourage the implementation of more professional and sustainable financial governance while improving the quality of services provided to the congregation and the surrounding community.
