<![CDATA[This research waslconducted based on the results oflobservations due to the teacher's lack of understanding and the application of non-innovative learning modelslin social studies learning activities so that it had an impact on the low level of completeness of students' learning outcomes. To overcome these problems the researcher took alternative problem solving by using the application of a problem based learning modellassisted by wordwall type matchup. This research aims to describelthe planning and implementation of learning to improve the learning outcomes of class VIB students at SD Negeri 3 Pabuaranwetan with 23 students as theeresearch sample. This research was conducted in twoccycles, cycle I showed thatlstudent learning outcomes appeared to have increasedlin cycle I reaching 73.91% and cycle II 82.60%. So it concluded thatlthe application of the problem based learning modellassisted by a matchup type wordwalllcan improve student learning outcomes.
