<![CDATA[Each discipline cannot stand alone but is interrelated. The integration of language, art and numeracy is an effective approach to create a holistic learning experience. This article aims to outline a deeper understanding of the importance of linking language, art and numeracy in the process of developing picture stories to support elementary math-numeracy learning. The combination of literary and visual arts in numeracy picture stories has great potential to enhance math/numeracy learning. By using interesting narratives and creative visualizations, picture stories can bring abstract mathematical concepts into concrete funds that can be applied and reasoned in students' daily lives.]]>
