This study is motivated by the importance of mastering basic volleyball techniques, particularly underhand passing as the foundation of team play and attack construction. The low accuracy of students’ underhand passing indicates the need for effective and practical training methods. This study aims to determine the effect of wall pass training on improving the accuracy of underhand passing among volleyball extracurricular students at Proklamasi Balongbendo Junior High School aged 12–15 years. The research employed an experimental method using a pretest–posttest control group design. The subjects were divided into an experimental group receiving wall pass training and a control group receiving conventional training. The instrument used was the Brumbach Forearms Pass Wall Volley Test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, homogeneity tests, paired sample t-tests, and independent sample t-tests at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group, with the mean score increasing from 16.00 to 19.60 (Sig. 0.001 < 0.05), while the control group showed a slight and insignificant increase from 15.20 to 15.70 (Sig. 0.363 > 0.05). The posttest comparison between groups also indicated a significant difference (Sig. 0.020 < 0.05). It can be concluded that wall pass training has a significant effect on improving the accuracy of underhand passing and can be used as an effective and practical training method.
