<![CDATA[This article examines the Sekolah Rakyat (People's School) program as an instrument of inclusive education policy in Indonesia, launched by President Prabowo Subianto through Presidential Instruction Number 8 of 2025. The program emerges in response to persistently high dropout rates and severe inequality in educational access among the extreme poor. Employing a library research approach with policy analysis methods, this article examines the legal foundation, philosophy, curriculum design, implementation patterns, early achievements, as well as academic challenges and critiques of the program. The study also positions Sekolah Rakyat within the theoretical framework of inclusive education, particularly from the dimensions of social justice, accessibility, and structural transformation of poverty through education. The findings indicate that Sekolah Rakyat possesses a strong policy foundation and significant potential as an instrument for equalizing educational access; however, it faces serious challenges including teacher readiness, the risk of social segregation, budget sustainability, and the need for a more transparent and evidence-based evaluation system. This article recommends strengthening governance, multi-stakeholder engagement, and integrating the program with more comprehensive social protection policies so that Sekolah Rakyat can genuinely become a pillar of sustainable inclusive education.]]>
