Low teacher motivation and work discipline in elementary schools are critical issues that hinder the quality of learning. This study aims to analyze the effect of the principal's leadership model on increasing teacher motivation and work discipline in public elementary schools in Tumijajar District, Tulang Bawang Barat Regency. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed. The population consisted of 50 teachers from four public elementary schools, and a sample of 35 teachers was selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire (1-4) that had been tested for validity (Pearson product-moment) and reliability (Cronbach's Alpha). Simple linear regression analysis was conducted after normality, homogeneity, and linearity tests. The results indicate that: (1) the principal's leadership model has a positive and significant effect on teacher motivation (t-count = 5.322 > t-table = 2.030; Sig. = 0.000; R² = 0.462); (2) the principal's leadership model also has a positive and significant effect on teacher work discipline (t-count = 7.908 > t-table = 2.030; Sig. = 0.000; R² = 0.655). The regression equations obtained are Y₁ = 14.143 + 0.395X for motivation and Y₂ = 8.729 + 0.726X for work discipline. This study recommends strengthening transformational, instructional, and democratic leadership through consistent rule enforcement, routine academic supervision, participatory decision-making, and leader modeling to improve teacher motivation and discipline.
