The digital era has brought fundamental changes in the way humans learn, work, and interact. However, education curricula in many countries including Indonesia still maintain structures and orientations designed for the needs of the 20th century. This article analyzes various forms of mismatch between the current curriculum design and the real needs of learners in the digital era, covering dimensions such as content, methods, assessment, and relevant skills. This study also offers strategic recommendations to align the curriculum with contemporary demands without neglecting perennial educational values.
