<![CDATA[This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of learning activeness on students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character Education subjects at SMK Bhakti Pemuda. The study is motivated by the low level of students’ learning activeness, particularly in writing, drawing, and mental activities, which has an impact on students’ low learning outcomes. This research is expected to contribute to improving the quality of PAI learning through increasing students’ learning activeness. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative ex post facto research design. The population of the study consisted of all 30 tenth-grade students of SMK Bhakti Pemuda, and all of them were used as the research sample. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, tests, interviews, and documentation. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The research instruments consisted of a learning activeness questionnaire and a learning outcomes test. Instrument validity was tested using the Pearson Product Moment formula, while reliability testing used Cronbach’s Alpha. Data analysis techniques included prerequisite testing through a normality test, followed by simple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of variable X on variable Y. The indicators of the learning activeness variable include visual activities, writing activities, mental activities, speaking activities, drawing activities, emotional activities, listening activities, and motor activities. Meanwhile, the indicators of learning outcomes include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The results of the study indicate that learning activeness has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes in PAI and Character Education subjects. The higher the level of students’ learning activeness, the better the learning outcomes achieved. Therefore, learning activeness becomes an important factor in improving the success of the learning process at school.]]>
