This study aims to explore the Islamic educational values embodied in the nine-night tahlil tradition after death in Karang Lebah Village, Praya. The tahlilan tradition is a religious practice that serves not only as a prayer for the deceased but also as a means of Islamic education based on local culture, passed down through generations in the community. This study used a qualitative approach with field research, using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation involving religious leaders, community leaders, and local residents. The data obtained were analyzed through systematic data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the nine-night tahlil tradition is carried out consecutively for nine days after death, with a series of activities including the recitation of Surah Yasin, dhikr (remembrance of God), tahlil (recitation of the Quran), and communal prayers led by religious leaders. This tradition embodies Islamic educational values, including faith, worship, morals, and social values. Furthermore, the values of muamalah (social interaction) are also reflected in harmonious social interactions, the practice of sharing wealth through meals, and the strengthening of ties between residents. Thus, the nine-night tahlil tradition not only serves as a religious ritual, but also as an effective non-formal Islamic educational medium in shaping religious character and strengthening solidarity and togetherness in community life.
