This research was motivated by observations of changes in community habits after participating in the Majelis Ta'lim (Islamic study group) activities. This study demonstrates the significant influence of the Majelis Ta'lim (Islamic study group) in the Muslim community, both in terms of knowledge, the formation of religious understanding, and the instilling of Islamic values. Therefore, this study aims to determine the role of the Majelis Ta'lim Sirojul Ummah (Islamic study group) in enhancing the spiritual understanding of the Lajut Village community and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors that contribute to the sustainability of the Majelis Ta'lim (Islamic study group) in its efforts to improve the spiritual understanding of the Lajut Village community. This research is expected to provide an overview of the Majelis Ta'lim's contribution to the community's religious life and provide input for the development of religious activities at the village level. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were the Majelis Ta'lim administrators, religious leaders, and the congregation of the Majelis Ta'lim Sirojul Ummah in Lajut Village. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are: The role of the Sirojul Ummah Ta'lim Assembly in Increasing the Spiritual Understanding of the Lajut Village Community can be said to be quite good. Seen from several activities carried out by the Sirojul Ummah Ta'lim Assembly and also through the delivery of religious materials delivered during the study activities. Supporting and inhibiting factors for the continuation of the ta'lim assembly in an effort to increase the spiritual understanding of the Lajut Village community are: Supporting factors, Adequate facilities and infrastructure, High enthusiasm of the congregation. Inhibiting factors, High dependence on the instructor, Age of the congregation, Fatigue of the congregation, and Limited means of transportation.
