<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the low reading comprehension skills of students. This study aims to improve students reading comprehension skills through the applicaton of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model in Indonesian Language in grade IV MIN 3 Mataram City in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of the study were 35 students. The results showed that the application of the reciprocal teaching model was able to improve students reading comprehension skills in grade IV MIN 3 Mataram City. This was propen that in the first cycle the average classical completeness was 51,42% (B) and in the second cycle it increased to 94,28% (SB). In addition, the activities of teachers and students during the learning process using the reciprocal teaching model were effective in increasing the activeness of teachers and students during the leraning process. This is proven by the results of observations that have been carried out, (a) the teacher aspect in cycle I obtained an average of 80,55% (B), while in cycle II it increase to 94,28% (SB), (b) thestudent aspect in cycle I obtained an average of 77,77% (B), while in cycle II it increased to 94,44% (SB). Thus, it can be concluded that the reciprocal teaching model can improve students reading comprehension skills in Indonesian Language subjects.]]>
