This study aimed to determine the effect of Depth Jump and Box jump training on improving the heading ability of futsal extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 7 Watampone. The research employed an experimental method using a two-group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of 14 students divided into two groups: 7 students in the Depth Jump group and 7 students in the Box jump group, selected through total sampling. The research instrument was a heading test measuring heading distance and accuracy during the pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test because the data were not normally distributed. The results showed that Depth Jump training significantly improved heading ability with a significance value of 0.015 (p < 0.05). Box jump training also showed a significant effect with a significance value of 0.017 (p < 0.05). Both groups experienced improvements in heading scores from pretest to posttest. However, the Independent Samples Test showed a significance value of 0.442 (p > 0.05), indicating no significant difference between the effects of Depth Jump and Box jump training.
