<![CDATA[This study aimed to improve the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade elementary school students through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model. The research employed Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed that the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model was able to improve students’ reading comprehension skills. The improvement could be seen in students’ ability to understand reading texts, identify main ideas, answer questions based on the text, and make conclusions from the reading materials more effectively. In addition, the implementation of Cooperative Learning also increased students’ activeness and collaboration during the learning process. The classroom atmosphere became more active, interactive, and student-centered, which encouraged students to participate more enthusiastically in reading comprehension activities.]]>
