This study aims to analyze the role of leadership in managing differences of opinion in the decision-making process within Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) in Padang City. The research addresses the challenges arising from diverse perspectives among cadres, which may potentially lead to internal conflict if not managed properly. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that leadership plays a crucial role in facilitating dialogue and compromise through strategies such as open communication, participatory leadership, ideological approaches, deliberative mechanisms (musyawarah), and internal negotiation. However, leaders also face significant challenges, including gender inequality, patriarchal cultural pressures, financial limitations, and external political dynamics. Effective leadership in managing these differences has a positive impact on organizational cohesion, strengthening solidarity, improving decision quality, and enhancing overall organizational effectiveness. Conversely, failure to manage differences may weaken cohesion and hinder organizational performance. Therefore, adaptive, inclusive, and value-based leadership is essential to transform differences of opinion into constructive organizational strength.
