This study aims to analyze the management of vision and mission in educational institutions through a strategic management approach, encompassing the stages of formulation, implementation, and evaluation, as well as identifying the factors that influence their effectiveness. The study employs a library research approach by systematically reviewing various primary and secondary literature sources, which were subsequently analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings reveal that the formulation stage was carried out participatively by engaging multiple stakeholders, while implementation proceeded consistently, supported by the visionary leadership of the school principal and a conducive organizational culture. However, the evaluation stage was identified as the most critical structural weakness, as it has yet to be supported by a performance indicator-based monitoring mechanism that is both measurable and systematically scheduled. Limitations in human resources and budget further impeded the overall consistency of implementation. These findings have direct implications for the achievement of SDG 4, as without systematic strategic evaluation, educational institutions risk producing only symbolic compliance with global quality agendas, rather than delivering sustainable transformative impact on the quality of education.
