<![CDATA[ Indonesia is a multicultural country with a high level of diversity in terms of ethnicity, religion, language, and culture. This condition requires the world of education to play an active role in instilling the values of tolerance, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence from an early age. Elementary school serves as a highly strategic level for developing multicultural education. However, multicultural education in elementary schools still faces various obstacles. Stereotypical attitudes, discrimination, and intolerance are still found in interactions between students. Furthermore, its implementation remains uneven across various elementary schools. The purpose of this study is to examine the similarities and differences in the implementation of multicultural education in Indonesia, Singapore, and Japan. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a comparative study. Data collection techniques were carried out through a literature review by examining and analyzing various relevant sources. Based on the research results Indonesia and Singapore possess high levels of diversity, while Japan is more homogeneous. Indonesia implements multicultural education through the values of Pancasila and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Singapore utilizes structured national policies.Japan instills social harmony through school culture and habituation.The differences lie in the implementation of multicultural education across the three countries. Singapore is more consistent, Japan shows success in character building, while Indonesia still faces obstacles regarding equitable distribution but holds great potential through the development of multicultural education, policy strengthening, and inclusive education.]]>
