This study aims to describe students’ communication skills, identify barriers, and analyze influencing factors in micro teaching learning. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method was employed. Subjects consisted of 13 Accounting Education students (2022 cohort) at Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta and one supervising lecturer. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and video documentation analysis, validated through source and technique triangulation. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Findings indicate that communication skills varied across three categories: high, moderate, and low. The dominant barrier was psychological, while the most influential factors were self-confidence and subject matter mastery.
