Abstract

students’ diverse needs, interests, and abilities. This approach has become one of the important strategies in implementing the Independent Curriculum because it places students at the center of the learning process. This study aims to examine the implementation of differentiated learning in improving elementary school students’ concentration and learning motivation. The research method used is a literature review by analyzing various relevant scientific journal articles published within the last five years. Data sources were obtained from national journals through scientific databases such as Google Scholar using the keywords differentiated learning, learning concentration, learning motivation, and Independent Curriculum. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques by identifying, comparing, and interpreting findings from previous studies. The results of the review indicate that the implementation of differentiated learning through adjustments in learning content, processes, and products is able to increase student engagement in the learning process. This approach has also been proven to improve students’ learning concentration because the learning activities are tailored to their characteristics and learning needs. In addition, differentiated learning can enhance students’ learning motivation because the learning process becomes more interesting, flexible, and provides opportunities for students to learn according to their abilities.
