This study aims to examine the implementation of a role-playing learning model using Sukuraga puppet media to enhance the creativity of elementary school students. The study was motivated by the low level of student creativity, which is attributed to the use of teaching methods that do not sufficiently engage students and the limited use of media based on local culture. This study employs a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects are fourth-grade elementary school students. Data were collected using a creativity assessment rubric covering the aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, and evaluation. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis and the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The results indicate an increase in students’ creativity following the implementation of the Role-Playing learning model assisted by Wayang Sukuraga media. The improvement is evident in the average creativity scores of the students as well as a shift in creativity categories toward higher levels. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. Thus, the Role-Playing learning model assisted by Wayang Sukuraga media is effective in enhancing the creativity of elementary school students.
