<![CDATA[Law enforcement based on justice is a fundamental element in realizing a democratic and dignified rule of law state. In the Indonesian context, law enforcement is not only required to ensure legal certainty, but also to reflect substantive justice, equality before the law, and the protection of human rights. This study aims to analyze the concept and urgency of just law enforcement, as well as to examine the historical, sociological, and political foundations that influence its development in Indonesia. Furthermore, this paper discusses the dynamics and contemporary challenges faced by the national law enforcement system. This research employs a library reasearch and of national legal journals published between 2020 and 2025. The findings indicate that just law enforcement requires a balance between legal certainty, utility, and substantive justice. Major challenges include unequal access to justice, political intervention, and the lack of integrity among law enforcement officials. Therefore, strengthening the rule of law, ensuring judicial independence, and internalizing the values of Pancasila and human rights are essential strategies to establish a responsive, accountable, and socially just legal system.]]>
