<![CDATA[This study is motivated by the low Qur’anic reading proficiency of some students at the pre-memorization stage, particularly in the areas of tajwid, makhraj al-huruf, fluency, and reading accuracy, which are influenced by differences in educational background. The study aims to describe the pesantren’s management strategies for improving pre-memorization Qur’anic reading skills at Pondok Pesantren Putra Safinatul Huda Bandung, Diwek, Jombang. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design; data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the pesantren leader, ustadz, and students. The findings indicate that the pesantren’s management strategies are implemented through the functions of planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation, with the Fashohah method applied as the main pre-memorization learning program. These strategies were found to improve students’ Qur’anic reading abilities in terms of tajwid, makhraj, fluency, and reading accuracy, and are supported by regular evaluations to monitor student progress and to continuously improve the learning process.]]>
