<![CDATA[Traditional Sukabumi games, often referred to as kaulinan barudak, are a cultural heritage inherited from our ancestors. Besides being enjoyable for children, traditional games also offer significant benefits for child development, such as fostering positive character. However, many traditional Sukabumi games are now being abandoned as children prefer more modern games. This study attempts to examine the instilling of character education in elementary school children through traditional games. The research method used was a qualitative study with a literature review design. Data collection techniques used were a literature review with descriptive data analysis. The results of this study, based on the review of 12 journal articles, all indicate that traditional Sukabumi games such as sondah, congklak, perepet jengkol, and bekel can be used as a medium for developing children's character. These games instill positive character values such as honesty, mutual cooperation, perseverance, discipline and adherence to rules, patience, and sportsmanship.]]>
