<![CDATA[The subject that must exist at every level of education is learning Indonesian and speech text material is one of the parts of learning Bahasa Indonesia. Based on the results of observations and interviews, in learning speech texts, problems are still found, namely in the teaching materials used. These problems are the basis for the need for the development of more creative and innovative teaching materials that can increase students' interest in learning. One of the innovations that can be applied is the use of the YouCut application in the development process. This study aims to find out the process and form of the development of speech text teaching materials assisted by YouCut application media in grade VIII students of UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan and to determine the feasibility level of the product resulting from the results of the development of speech text teaching materials assisted by YouCut application media in grade VIII UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan. The research method used in this study is research and development (R&D) with reference to the Borg and Gall model but this research does not use all stages, but only reaches the fifth stage, namely potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, design validation and design revision. This research produces teaching material products in audiovisual form which are assessed by expert experts to determine the feasibility of teaching material products. The experts who test are material experts and media experts. The validation results from material experts were 88% with the very good category and the validation of media experts was 87% with the very good category. In addition to material and media experts, teachers also give an assessment with a result of 92% with the excellent category, which means that the teaching material products developed with the help of YouCut application media are suitable for use in learning.]]>
