<![CDATA[Creativity is one of the fundamental abilities that needs to be develoved from the elementary school level. However, art learning in primary schools often remains conventional and provides limited space for student exploration, thus preventing students creative potential from developing optimally. This study aims to examine the role of natural material-based art learning through an explorative approach in developing the creativity of elementary school students. The method used is a literature review by analyzing and synthesizing 20 scientific articles published between 2021 and 2026. Sources were retrieved from Google Scholar, SINTA, and Garuda databases, selected based on topic relevance, methodological clarity, and journal accreditation status. The results indicate that: (1) natural materials foster students ingenuity, aesthetic sensitivity, and imagination through multisensory stimulation; (2) the explorative approach significantly enhances work originality and self-confidence in expression; (3) natural material-based art activities contribute to fine motor development and divergent thinking; and (4) this learning approach cultivates students environmental awareness. The novelty of this research lies in the synthesis of the relationship among natural materilas, explorative approaches, and elementary school students creativity within a single integrative conceptual framework for visual arts learning. The implications of this study encourage elementary school teachers to systematically integrate natural materials and explorative approaches into their visual arts lesson designs.]]>
