<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the application of mixed media sewing learning in improving the creativity of class XI KKBT students at SMKN 4 Padang through collaboration between ecoprint using pounding techniques and using sewing machines. This research is motivated by sewing learning that still focuses on basic skills and making the same products every year so that it does not provide optimal space for the development of student creativity. This problem encourages the need for more varied learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study design. In this study, the subjects consisted of 15 class XI KKBT students and sewing subject teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The learning process was carried out using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model with stages of ecoprint introduction, printing ecoprint motifs on fabric using pounding techniques, making hat patterns, to the process of sewing products in the form of round hats. The results showed that mixed media sewing learning was able to increase active involvement, courage to explore, and the ability of students to develop creative ideas by combining natural materials with machine sewing techniques. The resulting work has aesthetic value, usability, and shows a diversity of innovative motifs and shapes compared to previous learning. Thus, mixed-media sewing lessons through ecoprinting and machine sewing are considered effective as creative learning alternatives and relevant to the development of the creative industry and environmentally friendly principles.]]>
