Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in shaping students' character, but challenges remain in fostering student engagement in learning. In PAI learning in grade X at SMA Negeri 1 Sidayu, learning motivation remains low, evident in the lack of engagement, participation, and interaction during learning. This study aims to explore the application of Quizizz in PAI learning and to understand the dynamics of student learning motivation and the factors that may influence it. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Participants included PAI teachers and grade X students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted descriptively by reviewing and interpreting field findings. The results show that the use of Quizizz can create a more interactive and participatory learning atmosphere. Learning motivation has seen a positive shift, as demonstrated by changes in student participation and enthusiasm during learning. From the perspective of selfdetermination theory, this condition is related to meeting students' needs for competence, autonomy, and connectedness. These findings highlight the importance of experiential learning and encourage teachers to utilize technology in more innovative ways in the classroom. Further research is recommended to delve deeper into the use of Quizizz in various approaches to develop diverse gamebased learning models.
