<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the importance of implementing Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah (Aswaja) values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and religious extracurricular activities as an effort to develop students’ moderate, tolerant, balanced, and just character amidst the challenges of radicalism and intolerance. This study aimed to describe the implementation of Aswaja values in PAI learning, the implementation of Aswaja values in religious extracurricular activities, and to identify the Aswaja values applied at SMA Negeri 1 Buay Madang Timur. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, extracurricular supervisors, and students as informants. Data analysis was conducted through data condensation, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that Aswaja values were implemented through their integration into PAI learning activities and various religious extracurricular programs. The values developed include tawassuth (moderation), tawazun (balance), tasamuh (tolerance), and i’tidal (justice), which are reflected in classroom learning, religious habituation activities, and students’ social interactions within the school environment. The implementation of these values contributes to the development of students who are religious, moderate, and capable of living harmoniously within a pluralistic society.]]>
