Biodiversity learning requires contextual and engaging learning media to help students better understand the concepts being studied. One of the learning resources that can be utilized is research findings on the community structure of soil macrofauna in peatland ecosystems. This study aimed to design a biodiversity e-booklet based on the community structure of soil macrofauna in peatlands under oil palm plantations in Talau Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, and to determine its validity as a biology learning medium for senior high school students. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach consisting of the analysis, design, and development stages. The validity of the e-booklet was evaluated by a material expert, a media expert, and a practitioner (teacher) using a Likert-scale validation instrument. The results indicated that the developed e-booklet achieved an average validity score of 3.58, which falls into the highly valid category. Therefore, the biodiversity e-booklet based on the community structure of peatland soil macrofauna is considered suitable for use as a contextual learning medium in biodiversity instruction.
