<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the (Tos Teaching with Ordered Sequence of Pictures) Gambar (picture and picture) learning model on improving students’ learning interest in Christian Religious Education for Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Uluan. The background of this research is the low level of students’ learning interest caused by the lack of innovation in teaching methods, with teachers still relying heavily on conventional lecture methods.This research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive-correlational design. The population consisted of all Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Uluan, totaling 31 students, who were also taken as the research sample using a total sampling technique. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire based on a Likert scale. The independent variable (X) was the implementation of the Tos Gambar learning model, while the dependent variable (Y) was students’ learning interest. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, normality test, correlation coefficient, significance test, and determination coefficient. The results showed that the implementation of the Tos Gambar learning model was in the very influential category, and students’ learning interest was also in the very influential category. The correlation test obtained a value of r = 0.43 with a determination coefficient of 18.5%, indicating that the Tos Gambar learning model contributed to the increase in students’ learning interest, while the remaining percentage was influenced by other factors. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Tos Gambar learning model has a positive and significant effect on improving Grade VII students’ learning interest in Christian Religious Education at SMP Negeri 1 Uluan. ]]>
