<![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the forms of abbreviations found in posts on the X account @discountfess from October to November 2025. This is a qualitative descriptive study. The research data consists of words, phrases, and sentences containing abbreviations. The data sources come from posts on the X account @discountfess from October to November 2025. Data were collected using the free observation and note-taking (SBLC) technique and the note-taking technique. The author acted as the research instrument, assisted by data recording cards. Data analysis was conducted using the distribution method with the direct element division technique, followed by the absorption technique. The results of the data analysis are presented using an informal method. The research results indicate that the use of abbreviated forms was found in posts from the X account @discountfess during the period from October to November 2025. A total of 207 instances of abbreviated forms were identified, comprising 111 abbreviations, 41 acronyms, 2 contractions, 45 fragments, and 8 symbols. The use of these abbreviations aims to make communication faster, more practical, and more efficient, as well as to serve as the user’s identity within the account, indicating a shared understanding among the followers of the X account @discountfess.]]>
