<![CDATA[Career decision-making is a crucial developmental task for vocational high school (SMK) students. However, many students still experience difficulties in making appropriate career choices. This is due to a lack of self-understanding, limited career information, and the influence of the family environment that has not been optimally utilized. Therefore, appropriate guidance services are needed to assist students in developing these skills. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance using the career genogram technique in developing career decision-making skills in vocational high school students, as examined by differences before and after the service is provided. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants were Grade XII students of SMK Negeri 1 Jejawi. Data collection used a Likert-scale questionnaire. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed an increase in the average pretest score from 95.4 to 111.3, representing a 16.67% increase. The hypothesis test yielded an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.008 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. Thus, it can be concluded that group counseling services using the career genogram technique are effective in developing vocational high school students’ career decision-making skills.]]>
