<![CDATA[This study aimed to analyze the learning difficulties experienced by sixth-grade students in answering Science (IPA) questions and to identify the factors influencing those difficulties. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The participants were sixth-grade elementary school students selected as the sources of research data. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings revealed that students experienced difficulties in understanding the meaning of questions, particularly true-false statements and complex multiple-choice items. Difficulties were also found in determining correct answers due to a lack of accuracy and insufficient understanding of science concepts. The factors influencing students’ learning difficulties consisted of internal and external factors. The findings indicate that students’ academic abilities are not the only factors contributing to their learning difficulties; psychological aspects and interconnected learning environment factors also play significant roles. Therefore, integrated efforts from both teachers and students are needed to improve conceptual understanding, concentration, and learning motivation, as well as to create a conducive learning environment that supports successful science learning.]]>
