<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the contribution of peer attachment to emotional dysregulation in Vocational High School students in West Pasaman Regency. This research is motivated by the discovery of various emotional problems in adolescents which are characterized by difficulties in recognizing, understanding, and controlling emotions, so the ability to regulate emotions is important to be studied. This study uses a quantitative approach with probability sampling techniques through cluster sampling (area sampling). The number of respondents in this study was 377 vocational school students in West Pasaman Regency. The measurement tools used are the IPPA scale, especially peer attachment which refers to the theory of Armsden and Greenberg (1987) adapted by Javier and Rahayu (2022) and the difficulty in emotion regulation scale short form (DERS-SF) developed by Kaufman et al. (2016) which has been adapted by Danasasmita et al. (2024). Data analysis was carried out using the help of SPSS version 30 for windows with a simple linear regression technique. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that peer attachment made a significant contribution to emotional dysregulation in vocational school students in West Pasaman Regency with an effective contribution of 20.8%. The results of the study show that the higher the peer attachment, the higher the level of emotional dysregulation of students in regulating their emotions. Thus, there is a significant influence between peer attachment on emotional dysregulation in vocational school students in West Pasaman Regency.]]>
