Digital literacy is an individual's ability to access, understand, evaluate, and utilize technology-based information effectively and responsibly. The rapid development of information technology requires students to have critical thinking skills in order to filter various information obtained from digital media. This study aims to analyze the role of digital literacy in improving students' critical thinking skills. The research used a qualitative approach with a literature study method through reviewing various relevant scientific sources. The results showed that digital literacy has a significant influence on improving students' critical thinking skills, especially in analyzing information, evaluating data validity, solving problems, and making logical and rational decisions. The use of digital technology in learning can also encourage students to be more active, creative, and independent in the learning process. However, the lack of supervision in the use of digital media can lead to the spread of invalid information, so strengthening digital literacy education in schools is necessary. Thus, digital literacy becomes one of the important competencies in supporting 21st-century learning and shaping students into critical and responsible individuals.
