This study examines the implementation of the book At-Tibyan fi Adabi Hamalatil Qur’an as a foundation for character building among tahfidz students at Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ul Huffazh Al-Qur’an Cukir, Diwek, Jombang. The research is motivated by the moral challenges faced by the younger generation in the digital era, which require strengthening Islamic character education based on Qur’anic values and classical Islamic scholarship. This study aims to describe the implementation of the At-Tibyan study, identify the character values contained in the book, and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of At-Tibyan through the bandongan method contributes positively to strengthening students’ religious character, discipline, responsibility, humility, sincerity, and respect toward teachers and the Qur’an. Supporting factors include the pesantren environment, exemplary teachers, and routine study activities, while inhibiting factors include differences in students’ understanding and the influence of digital culture. The study concludes that At-Tibyan remains relevant as a basis for character education in tahfidz pesantren amid contemporary challenges.
