<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the reading interest of fifth-grade elementary school students in the second semester and identify the influencing factors. The method used is a literature study by reviewing 25 relevant scientific articles related to reading interest, school literacy movements, and Indonesian language learning strategies in elementary schools. The results indicate that students' reading interest is generally low to moderate, influenced by internal factors such as motivation, reading habits, and comprehension skills, as well as external factors including family environment, availability of literacy facilities, teacher roles, and the implementation of school literacy programs. Various efforts such as reading corners, digital literacy, storytelling approaches, and culturally-based teaching materials have proven effective in improving students' reading interest. This study contributes by providing a comprehensive overview of elementary students' reading interest and serves as a foundation for developing more effective instructional strategies in the field of Indonesian Language and Literature Education.]]>
