This study aims to determine the effect of using Educaplay media based on the shaping technique on the ability to care for oneself during menstruation in students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB Insan Tiara Bangsa. The research used a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 5 female students as subjects. Data collection was carried out using performance test/observation sheets. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and the non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results showed that the average pre-test score of students was 67.8 (minimum 53, maximum 78), which increased significantly to 99.0 (minimum 90, maximum 112) in the post-test. Hypothesis testing via the Wilcoxon test yielded an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.043 < 0.05, indicating that Ho is rejected and H₁ is accepted. It can be concluded that the use of Educaplay media based on the shaping technique significantly improves the self-care ability during menstruation for children with mild intellectual disabilities. This media presents learning steps concretely, sequentially, and interactively, thereby increasing students' focus and independence.
