This research is motivated by the importance of understanding students' emotional responses to the implementation of the Free Nutritional Meal Program (MBG) in schools. Students' emotional responses are one indicator that can be used to assess the success of the program. This study aims to analyze the emotional responses of second and fifth grade students to the Free Nutritional Meal Program at Sendang Laok Elementary School. The study used a qualitative approach with second and fifth grade students as research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Observations were conducted to observe students' expressions and behaviors during the program implementation, while interviews were used to explore students' opinions and experiences. Questionnaires were used to measure the level of students' emotional responses to the program. The results showed that students' emotional responses to the Free Nutritional Meal Program tended to be positive. Most students felt happy, enthusiastic, and accepted the program well, although these emotional expressions were not always directly visible. These findings indicate that the Free Nutritional Meal Program has a positive impact on students' emotional conditions and supports the creation of a better learning environment.
