The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to various sectors, including counseling services. This study aims to identify, map, and synthesize research findings on the use of digital technology in counseling services published in the last five years (2019-2024). The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines. Literature searches were conducted on Google Scholar, Garuda and DOAJ databases using predetermined keywords. Of the 287 identified articles, 23 articles met the inclusion criteria and were used in narrative synthesis. The results indicate that the most widely used digital technologies in counseling services include video conference platforms, mobile applications, AI-based chatbots, and web-based counseling services. Key findings indicate that digital technology-based counseling is effective in improving service accessibility, reducing stigma, and supporting service continuity. However, challenges related to the digital divide, counselor competence, and ethical issues remain primary concerns. This study provides recommendations for counselors, educational institutions, and policymakers in optimizing the integration of digital technology in counseling practice.
