<![CDATA[Archipelagic Insight (Wawasan Nusantara) is the Indonesian nation’s perspective toward itself and its environment based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution by prioritizing national unity and integrity. This study aims to examine the definition and basic concept of Wawasan Nusantara, understand its role and implementation in national and state life, and identify the challenges of its application in the era of globalization. The method used in this study is a literature review by examining various relevant journals, books, and scientific articles. The results indicate that Wawasan Nusantara plays an important role in strengthening national integration through its implementation in political, economic, socio cultural, educational, as well as defense and security sectors. However, its implementation faces various challenges such as cultural globalization, the development of information technology, regional development disparities, increasing individualism, and global competition. Therefore, efforts are needed to strengthen character education, improve digital literacy, ensure equitable development, and preserve local culture in order to maintain national unity and identity amid the dynamics of globalization.]]>
