<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the strategies used by teachers to foster a reading literacy culture among students at SMPN 20 Bengkulu Selatan. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of Indonesian language teachers and students at SMPN 20 Bengkulu Selatan. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that teachers implemented several strategies to promote reading literacy culture, including habituation of reading activities before lessons, provision of reading corners in classrooms, utilization of school library facilities, integration of literacy activities into learning processes, and motivation through literacy appreciation programs. These strategies contributed positively to improving students' reading interest and literacy habits. Therefore, collaboration among teachers, schools, and parents is needed to strengthen literacy culture among students.]]>
