<![CDATA[Research by Jeni Anaci Nubatonis NIM 2201140030 with the title The Use of the Discovery Learning Model to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Social Science Lessons About Let's Get to Know Animals Around Us Class III UPTD SD Negeri Kelapa Lima Kupang This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the use of the Discovery Learning model in learning about Let's Recognize Animals Around Us grade III UPTD SD Negeri Kelapa Lima Kupang. The formulation of this research problem is: How to Use the Discovery Learning Model in IPAS Learning About Let's Get to Know the Animals Around Us to Improve the Learning Outcomes of Grade III Students of UPTD SD Negeri Kelapa Lima?. This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in learning science about let's get to know the animals around us through the use of the discovery learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with the following stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study are 23 people with details of 15 men and 8 female students. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and documentation of the learning process as well as tests designed to measure student learning outcomes. The results showed an improvement in learning processes and outcomes: the average class increased from 61.95 (pre-cycle) to 65 (Cycle I) and 80.22 (Cycle II), while classical completeness increased from 30% to 43% and then 96%. These findings prove the effectiveness of discovery learning in encouraging involvement in the discovery process and strengthening the critical thinking skills of elementary school students through a process of discovery, discussion, and targeted scaffolding.]]>
