<![CDATA[This study aims to describe how the role of teachers at MTs Tas-hilul Muhtadiin Kawak is optimized to improve students’ ethics, as well as to identify the coaching strategies implemented and their impact on students’ behavior. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach, with the subjects consisting of students, teachers, and parents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed qualitatively. The findings show that teachers play an important role as role models, guides, motivators, and directors in shaping students’ ethics. The optimization of this role was carried out through habituation of positive behavior, giving advice and direction, daily exemplary conduct, religious activities, discipline enforcement, and continuous evaluation of student behavior. These efforts contributed to positive changes in students’ attitudes, such as improved politeness, discipline, responsibility, and compliance with the madrasah rules. However, some obstacles were still found, including the limited involvement of parents and the influence of the external environment on students’ behavior. Thus, the success of students’ ethical development is strongly influenced by the consistency of teachers’ roles and the synergy between the madrasah and the family.]]>
