<![CDATA[Basic locomotor skills, particularly running, are important skills to develop in elementary school students. However, students' running abilities still need to be improved through engaging and enjoyable learning. One alternative is the ball relay game. This study aims to determine the effect of the ball relay game on improving basic locomotor skills (running) in third-grade students at Mojoroto 2 Elementary School, Kediri City. This study used a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The research design used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were 16 third-grade students at Mojoroto 2 Elementary School, Kediri City, in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank hypothesis test, and the N-Gain test. The results showed an increase in basic locomotor skills (running) after being exposed to the ball relay game. This is evidenced by the increase in the average pre-test score from 48,44 to 82,81 in the post-test. The results of the normality test indicated that the data were not normally distributed, so the hypothesis analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The test results obtained a significance value (Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed)) of 0.000 < 0.05, thus Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Furthermore, the N-Gain test results showed an average value of 0.7188, which is considered high, with an effectiveness level of 71,875%, which is considered anough effective. Therefore, it can be concluded that the ball relay game has a significant and quite effective impact on improving basic locomotor skills (running) in third-grade students at Mojoroto 2 Elementary School, Kediri City, in the 2025/2026 academic year.]]>
