This study aims to analyze vegetation conditions, land moisture distribution, and irrigation efficiency levels in agricultural areas of Alla District using remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) approaches. The study utilized Sentinel-2 imagery processed using ArcMap software through the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI) methods. The NDVI analysis results showed that vegetation conditions in agricultural areas were dominated by the moderate vegetation category with an area of 5.98 km² or approximately 39.11% of the total agricultural area. The NDWI analysis results indicated that land moisture conditions were dominated by the moderate moisture category with an area of 6.65 km² or approximately 43.49%. Furthermore, the overlay analysis between NDVI and NDWI showed that irrigation efficiency was dominated by the moderate efficiency category with an area of 6.28 km² or approximately 41.07% of the total agricultural area. The results indicate that the use of remote sensing technology and GIS is capable of providing spatial information regarding vegetation conditions, land moisture, and irrigation efficiency effectively and efficiently in agricultural areas of Alla District.
