<![CDATA[The development of disciplinary character is one of the primary objectives of Islamic education that can be fostered through a boarding-based educational system. The boarding school environment enables character development to be carried out intensively, systematically, and continuously throughout students’ daily lives. This study aims to analyze the implementation of boarding-based student management in shaping the disciplinary character of students at Pendidikan Diniyah Formal (PDF) Nurul Jadid, Paiton, Probolinggo. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the dormitory head, dormitory administrators, foster caregivers, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation and member checking. The findings reveal that the formation of students’ disciplinary character is carried out through the integration of six main components: role modeling, diligence developed through habituation, organized activities, the role of foster caregivers, supervision, and periodic evaluation. These six components form an interconnected developmental system that instills discipline, responsibility, orderliness, and self-awareness among students. The novelty of this study lies in the finding that the synergy of these six developmental components within boarding-based student management creates a comprehensive and sustainable mechanism for character education. The study implies that boarding-based student management can serve as an effective model for strengthening character education in Islamic educational institutions.]]>
