This study aimed to analyze the effect of the School Field Introduction Program (PLP II) and Generation Z Teaching Skills on the teaching competence of Business Education students of the 2022 cohort, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Medan. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires and observations and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that both PLP II implementation and Generation Z Teaching Skills had a positive and significant effect on teaching competence, both partially and simultaneously. Generation Z Teaching Skills emerged as the more dominant variable. Furthermore, both variables explained 55.2% of the variance in teaching competence, while the remaining 44.8% was influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study.
