<![CDATA[This study aims to improve the reading comprehension ability of third grade students in Indonesian Language subjects through the application of digital-based picture storybook media at SDN 203 Bongkamanu. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. The subjects in the study were 26 students, consisting of 11 male students and 15 female students. The data collection techniques used were observation and reading comprehension ability tests with research instruments in the form of learning implementation observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and multiple choice and essay test sheets. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative. Based on the results of the study, data obtained that in cycle I the average value of students reached 71 (high category) where the number of students who completed was 17 students (65%) who achieved the KKTP score and students who did not complete were 9 students (35%) who had not achieved the KKTP score. Furthermore, in cycle II, the average student score was 81 (high category) with 24 students (92%) completing the KKTP score and 2 students (8%) not completing the KKTP score. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an increase in reading comprehension ability in the Indonesian Language subject in class III of SDN 203 Bongkamanu, East Luwu Regency by 27% from cycle I to cycle II through the application of digital-based picture story book media.]]>
