This study aims to determine the effect of the CCPB model on students’ critical thinking skills regarding climate change material. This study employs a quasi-eksperimental design with an equivalent control group design. The population of this study consists of all 10th-grade students at State High School 13 Bandar Lampung, totalling 11 classes. The sample in this study consisted of classes X.10 and X.11, selected using purposive sampling. The results indicate that the implementation of the CCPB model has a significant effect on improving critical thinking skills. There is a significant effect (Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.05). The average N-Gain for critical thinking skills in the eksperimental group was 0.62 (moderate category), higher than the average N-Gain in the control group, which was 0.37 (low category). The indicator for building basic skills received the highest N-Gain score of 0.66 (moderate category), followed by the “drawing conclusions” indicator at 0.66 and “developing strategies and tactics” at 0.63. The post-intervention response rate reached an average of 76.18% (good category). Regarding sustainability Awareness, the implementation of CCPB had an impact on sustainability Awareness of 91.49% (High). An increase in the percentage of sustainability Awareness occurred across all aspects, with the Sustainability practice aspect showing the highest increase at 17.64%.
